I am the charge nurse and work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. Our center does many different type surgeries, and we do have overnight patients as well.

I have been a flight nurse with Kalitta since 1995. Our company flys in Lear jets and we fly around the world, to take patients of all acuities, from one place to another.

DMATs are deployed to various disasters, ie. hurricaines ,to provide medical care as needed or requested, when called in by the gov't. As a nursing supervisor, I oversee organizing the staff to patient care. I keep the flow of medical operations going, making decisions as needed to transport, triage and care for the paients under our responsibility.As needed, I too do patient care.

I have retired from the hospital ,after 30years of working in various areas of critical care, including the last 18 years in PACU.
