Supporting client as scrum master (SM) for development team and release train engineer (RTE) for agile release train. Senior Systems Engineer on cloud video analytics team in Advanced Research Group.Led effort for process improvement to transition research and development code into deployable software. Effort included incorporating more rigorous testing cycles within the sprint cycle as well as sprint planning and demonstrations. Developed, updated and maintained program deliverables for Advanced Video Activity Analytics (AVAA) project milestones. Worked with developers to produce Requirements Documents, Test Plans, Software Design Documents, User’s Guides, and Interface Control Documents. Implemented system engineering processes and planning on AVAA project using Agile software development methods. Assisted in Technical Exchange Meetings with various vendors and government organizations interested in learning about AVAA. Participated as AVAA representative in TCIL weekly Scrums and Red Disk Design Integrated Project Team meetings. Worked in partnership with Army Research Lab Human Factors team to design and conduct experiments with Army analysts using AVAA. Software Project Engineer for simulation of communications system for E-2D trainer.Managed and coordinated design with two subcontractors.Gathered user requirements from original proposal, from meetings with end users and from legacy trainer.Led group of three engineers.Planned, analyzed, designed, tested and documented software of high complexity (written in C on Linux operating system). Presented designs to customer in formal design reviews and worked with Navy representatives and crew members to assure design met their expectations. Updated B-1 trainer with new weapon. Analyzed existing code (written in C and C++), determined new algorithms for simulation, updated and tested code.

Lead Software engineer implementing upgrade to LCAC-FMT Instructor Operator Station (IOS) which was the graphical user interface used by client to control the flight simulation. Software was written in FORTRAN and C using a Unix operating system.Analyzed requirements for upgrade.Presented design changes to customer at formal design reviews.Coded and tested changes to software in lab environment.Implemented changes to trainer in field.

Led group of up to six software engineers on V-22 simulator. Managed development team providing technical guidance, and mentoring team members. Analyzed aircraft system, determined algorithms to use to simulate system, designed and coded software (written in Ada on Unix operating system). Tested and integrated software into trainer. Designed database tools, using PC-based software (Dbase, Foxpro), to link our windows-based IOS to varied group of trainers.
