Started as a graduate management trainee in West End GIO, moving to Bristol Jan 87 - May 88. Part of the management team that set up the Abbey National Unit in Birmingham. Got tired of big company mentality and lack of opportunity so moved into loss adjusting for 5 years, firstly in Bristol and then in Birmingham, with Pycraft & Arnold, Robins and Davies & Co. Was an insurance agent in the UK and Spain until just recently.
