One of the greatest experiences of my life. Not only was it my first time outside the country but also my first time working in such a fun and creative professional environment. I was learning so much everyday not only professional but personally as I navigated my daily routines and experience in a different country. One of the best things about my time at STRATEGEM is that they never treated me like an intern. From the beginning they treated me as a member of the team and assigned me real responsibilities rather than typical menial tasks you may expect in an internship. In teams, I worked with web developers and designers to develop appealing and creative advertisements, campaigns, and promotions for reputable companies such as Bus Eireann, GlaxoSmithKline, EuroSpar, Union Students of Ireland and Diago. As some of these companies are specific to Ireland or Europe, I often had to do my own outside research first to gain familiarity with businesses that I had no previous experience with. One of the largest campaigns I had the opportunity to work hands on with was the GUINNESS Brewing company on their “Made of More” Campaign. This was an in-depth marketing campaign that involved changing their company slogan along with a brand-new business manifesto that would be sent out to all distributors of GUINNESS products. As a kid on college at the time it was and still is one of the most exciting assignments I have ever had the opportunity to be a part of.
