I drove to client locations, and helped with on-site repairs, installs, or troubleshooting as required, but a majority of the work was remote.

Previous to this job, I was the front desk receptionist here, but they brought me on and created the I.T. department. I built Metro's I.T. from the ground up. Setup a VPN to our off-site servers, change ISP Providers, managed the transition of upgrading from Windows XP. Metro wanted to do Windows 8, so they have been on Windows 8 since the upgrade, with Exchange 13 and Office 13 to boot. Implemented new security policies for Metro, and technologically revamped this non-profit organization. With the Youthbuild Academy program, I developed a G.E.D testing facility on the North Side of Flint. This is one of three in the county, and one of two currently active. I built the testing room, and server setup from the ground up, and worked with Pearson VUE pretty closely on this. Also maintained any and all issues with HMIS equipment in corresponding HMIS agencies in the city of Flint, including My Brother's Keeper.
