About Charles Tan
I'm currently leading some of the most exciting large-scale, distributed end-to-end AI/Deep Learning (DL) initiatives, spanning everything from concept to deployment. This includes data management, model training, fine-tuning/customization, and deployment. My team's core focus is on developing AI/DL algorithms, optimizing performance, and automating ML-Ops processes. We collaborate closely with the entire AI engineering and research ecosystem, working on architecture and performance, frameworks like PyTorch and JAX, libraries such as CUDA, CuDNN, CuBlas, OpenAITriton, cuGraph, TRT, and NCCL, as well as distributed infrastructure. Our goal is to push the boundaries of advanced AI/DL systems, software, libraries, and models for the Nvidia GPU community.
