Transititoned Educator in the World of Ed. Tech. It might be semantics, but I don’t care for the term ‘former educator.’ I believe that once you’re an educator, you’re always an educator. Now, I’m just using my passion and skills in a different way, all while still working to support educators, students, and families. Previously, I worked as a teacher, assistant principal, and ESL supervisor for 10 years before transitioning into educational technology 2+ years ago. While still extremely passionate about education, I now work to support teachers and districts as a Partner Success Manager. I love the ability to teach and support teachers, so they are more easily able to support their students. I consider myself to be a life-long learner and am always looking for opportunities to grow and advance professionally.
