Responsible for executing sales strategies across the Campus Events and Student Union (CESU) department. Focused on cultivating external event bookings across the CESU venue portfolio. Coordinates and oversees a variety of high-profile, mission-critical PSU-wide events.This position provides oversight of revenue-generating accounts including:-Internal student organization events/space rentals-PSU departmental events/space rentals-External and partnership events/space rentals.The position also provides daily managerial oversight of the CESU department, office staff, and on-site event managers. Maintains updated Facility Use Procedures, coordinates external contracts, and manages events on the PSU Campus. Serves as the primary administrator of PSU’s Event Management Scheduling system (EMS) and is the lead scheduling authority. Provides oversight and process direction while focusing on revenue-generating line items during formation of the annual department budget.

Responsible for daily support of the Campus Events & Student Union (CESU) Office at Portland State University. Provided constant office presence in assisting clients and guests in scheduling and the event planning process. Scheduled reservations, configurations, and communications with internal and external clients of CESU. Also scheduled personal calendars of administrative staff, sat on hiring committees, completed date accrual projects, and assisted in the research of Grant proposals and funding. Provided general information and assistance to guests and visitors to the Smith Memorial student union and the Viking Pavilion. Provided tours and visitations to our multiple facilities including Hoffman Hall, Smith Union, and the Viking Pavilion. Lead and managed our student staff, both in the administrative and operational areas of the department. Managed our premiere event center, the Viking Pavilion Arena, scheduling and managing large scale concerts, events, and banquets for 3,000+ attendees.

Supervised the Smith Operation Team, lead the hiring and interview process, and shift scheduling. Designed the training of our staff took part in administrative communication in the Conference and Event Office. Oversaw the completion of events logistics, security, and team morale.
