I am part of a small team at Spire where I work as a software engineer specializing in the creation and maintenance of our extensive testing library used on our satellites during their manufacturing. This work is critical to ensuring the satellites produced meet the high standards internally and of our customers. Our testing is done primarily in Python using pytest but I also spend a lot of time digging around other code written in various languages to help debug issues with different parts of the satellites including firmware and OS (Linux) issues.Since joining the team, I have worked to improve the teams reliability by creating and introducing a new web application for the team to use that allows us to interface cleanly and in a consistent way with other teams to be sure issues are tracked and resolved in the best way possible. This runs in Python using Flask and involves using HTML, CSS and Javascript.

I teach experimental physics to 2nd year undergraduate students and invigilate examinations. My teaching duties involve leading lab sessions with 25+ students, where they learn critical techniques for research. I also teach an intensive Python block to introduce students with no prior programming experience and bring them to a level where they are able to use the language for their data analysis. Additionally, I ensure that students understand and follow proper experimental techniques while encouraging effective teamwork.

As the elected President of "StrathTech", the student technology society at the University of Strathclyde, I led a team of board members and volunteers in organizing and hosting weekly events. These sessions mainly involved working on team projects and providing assistance to students with their coursework-based and personal projects, while creating a fun and social environment for like-minded individuals.

Provided customer service support so customers can complete their shopping and process their purchase. Additionally, I performed stock room work, ensuring deliveries were properly organised.

As the elected head of web for the award-winning student magazine "theGIST" at Strathclyde and Glasgow Universities, I was solely responsible for creating the magazine's website from the ground up. This involved transforming the society's systems and website from an old-fashioned, slow website and email-based operation to a quick, modern, and secure new bespoke system. This transformation made the website more user-friendly and mobile-friendly, providing content to notoriously busy academics and students without painful loading times. As a result, the website attracted more readers.

Worked over the summer from 2014 to 2016 on the production floor at Micron Technology's factory in East Kilbride. I was responsible for packaging USB and Memory Modules for the electronics industry. Time was always of the essence, so it was fundamental that I work efficiently
