Strategy lead for the additive manufacturing (AM) group at this innovative engineering multinational. Working to transform metal 3D printing for use in volume production and enable the disruptive potential of this novel manufacturing technology.I spend my time analysing market trends, customer sentiment and sector opportunities to derive product and commercial strategies that exploit the exciting potential of AM. As well as working closely with talented engineering teams across software, hardware and service disciplines, to explain product vision, user needs and priority, I support marcomms and sales to deliver collateral, clarify messaging and enabling high value capital sales.

Core to the realisation of this world-first centre at the intersection of pioneering clinical practice, biomedical research and additive manufacturing. Driving medical devices along the research-practice continuum to deliver the innovation that is essential to the sustainability of global healthcare models.Brought the facility to operational readiness in 6 months, built an ISO13485 compliant quality management system and developed a high-performance multi-functional team.

Utilised the disruptive nature of digitization, previously limited to reverse engineering, to transform dentistry and cranio-maxillofacial surgery by enabling patient-specific interventions, leading to dramatically improved clinical outcomes.Provided technical leadership across the medical and dental products; conducting novel product design and development, including hybrid-AM dental structures and craniomaxillofacial implants. Implemented statistically controlled production systems; provided regulatory and quality assurance documentation and supported existing product manufacture. Led over £1 million worth of government funded projects, working closely with academic, clinical and industry partners to deliver hardware and software solutions.

Derived, analysed and managed user and system requirements, fulfilling Atkins role as Systems House for the Ministry of Defence armoured fighting vehicle procurement process. Developed functional models and vignettes, conducted client meetings, calculated power budgets and wrote a user guide for specialist systems engineering software. Part of the team responsible for relocating several hundred staff to a new sustainability-focused office.
