I have worked as a senior executive in the entertainment sector for twenty five years, with a particular focus on general management, licensing, business development and marketing. A strategic thinker with an analytical approach, my key areas of expertise are organisational change, developing business strategies, business planning and building partner relationships. Many of my strategic initiatives have won industry awards and I have delivered record-breaking results for organisations including Royal Mail, BBC, BSkyB and Microsoft.In July 2024 I was recommended for training for ordination in the Church of England, becoming Cathedral Ordinand at Liverpool Cathedral in September.In May 2022 I joined the Board of Directors for Affirming Catholicism, and was subsequently elected Chair in February 2024. Affirming Catholicism is a charity promoting affirming, inclusive Anglo-Catholic theology and practice across the Anglican Communion.In October 2021 I was democratically elected to the General Synod House of Laity, the national assembly of the Church of England. The General Synod considers and approves legislation affecting the whole of the Church of England, formulates new forms of worship, debates matters of national and international importance, and approves the annual budget for the work of the Church at national level.
