Matt Parkes is a Mechanical Engineer at Evonetix LTD. Colleagues describe him as "Matt is an exceptionally talented and driven engineer. More than that, he has recently demonstrated some significant project management abilities and I understand that this is where he may want to progress his career. Matt has managed, and worked on, multiple work packages to gather system strategies, system architecture information, risk management information, etc. He has also overseen the interpretation and negotiation of an MRD requirements in product requirements. This is a colossal piece of work and he has managed all of this whilst simultaneously undertaking verification work for some new mechanical designs. Throughout the entire time Matt has been involved in this work, he has shown an enormous amount of self drive and autonomy. It is very rare that he doesn't know how to tackle a situation and, often, I find out that he is approaching a piece of work in a more thorough or more structured way than I would. I continue to be surprised and impressed by him. I'd like to add that I find Matt an absolute pleasure to interact with. Very polite, intellectually challenging and always super precise. He can be completely relied upon and he has always thought about what he wants to ask before he approaches me. I appreciate that a lot! :-)"
