As a physics and secondary education graduate from Southern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science and a GPA of 3.72, I have developed a strong foundation in the field of physics and honed my teaching skills. In my academic role at Southern Connecticut State University, I tutored students in math and taught group physics lessons. Additionally, my research experiences at the Connecticut State College & Universities Center for Nanotechnology and the Southern Connecticut State University Astronomical Instrumentation Lab allowed me to develop and enhance my skills in image processing software, optical systems design, and computer vision software.Currently, I work as a Quality Engineer at Medtronic, where I collaborate with teams to analyze product complaint data and remediate risk files in accordance with ISO 14971:2019 guidelines. Previously, I have worked as an electrician apprentice and a lead woodworker and designer, where I honed my skills in electrical work and custom furniture design, respectively.My passion for science and engineering is reflected in my research presentations at the Southern Connecticut State University Industry Academic Fellowship Poster Day and the American Astronomical Society Meeting #234. My diverse work experience and research background have prepared me to adapt and learn quickly, take on new challenges, and work collaboratively.
