Directing the 6-12th grade percussion program for West ISD and teaching 7th grade band.

In this position I taught private percussion lessons, percussion ensemble and the front ensemble for the Spirit of Northwestern Demon Marching Band.

In this position I taught Fine Arts and the Percussion class. In fine arts I had to develop a curriculum and learn to work with students outside of the arts in the high school setting. The percussion class was geared toward marching percussion in the fall for marching band contest season and in the spring it was a percussion ensemble class as well as a concert band sectional time. In the spring of 2012 the Airline High School Percussion Ensemble performed at the Louisiana State Day of Percussion and had a highly complimented performance.

In this position I taught beginning 6th grade percussion, advanced 7th & 8th grade percussion classes as well as assist with the advanced concert band.
