Manage multiple design and construction projects, ensuring effective communication between clients, environmental teams, surveyors, right-of-way specialists, and construction groups. As a Senior Designer at Wood Group, I was responsible for mentoring and guiding junior drafters in the use of AutoCAD to produce pipeline drawings in accordance with client specifications and Wood Group standards. I maintained and updated AutoCAD basemaps, which were used to generate critical documentation such as FERC alignment sheets, environmental waterbody permits, wetland permits, road crossing permits, and property plats. I developed standardized templates and drawing guidelines to ensure consistency and uniformity across the team’s work.I managed the production of over 1,100 plats and utilized AutoCAD to create shape files for pipeline routes, integrating them into ESRI GIS systems for review by internal engineers, environmental teams, and clients. In addition, I produced stakeout drawings to support field surveyors in the accurate execution of pipeline routes.To streamline workflow and improve project tracking, I developed and maintained detailed spreadsheets that kept the team on task and ensured that deadlines were met. I also used ArcMap to generate shape files and Google Earth KMZ files, which were distributed to clients and third-party vendors for preliminary route analysis and changes. These efforts helped ensure smooth project execution, facilitated effective communication across teams, and maintained alignment with project goals and timelines.

Expanded my knowledge in onshore pipeline projects relating to the constructability and government agency review processes and requirements. Utilized my past projects and worked closely with the Engineering design team to analyze the constructability of a 180 mile pipeline, identified and resolved conflicts. Part of a four person team that produced over 1200 deed sketches from legal descriptions provided by a Right-of-Way company. Mentored fellow team members how to read legal descriptions and create the deed sketches. Created standards and templates which all the team followed to uniform drawings. Worked alongside a Registered Land Surveyor to construct property masters by analyzing the deed sketches, legal descriptions and survey data. Personally responsible for managing over 600 non-environmental permits with 52 different agencies. Developed an Excel spread sheet to track the status of all permits and set priorities according to the requirements of the agencies. Produced weekly status reports of the permits and monthly drawing control reports from the spread sheet I developed and maintained. Designed and produced specialized site specific drawings such as U.S. Army Corps Levee pipeline crossings and access roads following their guidance and requirements.

Utilized my knowledge of surveying and AutoCAD drafting by preparing right-of-way easement plats, read and analyzed deeds, quality control of survey field notes, master files and CSV files, created AutoCAD master files, directional drill construction drawings and prepared alignment sheets. Created numerous plats and staying organized, analyzed CSV files and master files prior to inputting in Blue Sky. Assisted a team of designers in the preparation of construction alignment sheets in a timely and efficient manner.

Utilized my knowledge with the analysis, calculation, and preparation of boundary surveys, topographic surveys, ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, reviewing title commitments, preparing metes and bounds descriptions under the guidance of a Registered Professional Land Surveyor. Responsible for reducing field notes, preparing descriptions and staking of pipeline right-of-ways, utility easements, and public right-of-ways for construction.

Expanded my knowledge with the analysis, calculation, and preparation of boundary surveys, topographic surveys, ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, lot surveys, construction staking, checking subdivisions plats, reviewing title commitments, and preparing metes and bounds descriptions under the guidance of a Registered Professional Land Surveyor. Experienced heavily with reading engineering construction plans and preparing field crew personnel with full construction staking at the direction of construction contractors.

Under the guidance of a Registered Professional Land Surveyor, gained the knowledge of analysis, calculation, and preparation of boundary surveys, topographic surveys, ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, lot surveys, construction staking, checking subdivisions plats, producing multifamily residential plats, reviewing title commitments, and preparing metes and bounds descriptions. Began exploring all attributes within Land Desktop 2004 like DTM surfaces and contouring.

Assisted Professional Engineers in preparing commercial and residential plan and profile construction plans and specifications dealing with water system design, wastewater system design, pavement design, and detention basin designs. Experience includes the Street Acceptance procedures within Harris County, preparation of presentation exhibits, Quality control of construction plans, Quantity takeoff, subdivision platting, preparing of bond issues, and Letter of Map Revisions. Preformed all work using Autodesk Release 14 through Land Desktop 2004 with Civil and Land Development program tools.
