I build robust systems, both large and small, from clean code and simple design principles: use immutable objects. Choose names carefully. Keep methods small. Use dependency injection. Don't reinvent the wheel – use a library. Optimize judiciously. And so on. Most importantly: solve for the customer. I strive to build the simplest, most-straightforward solutions to fix real customer pain.I also help others with design and implementation, and work to scale my efforts as much as reasonably possible, through training classes, style guides, and automated tooling.
