Deputy General Counsel
CurrentAdvise firm personnel on ethics and compliance issues, including conflicts of interest, information governance, engagement contracts, bar admissions, and lawyer advertising. Support compliance and risk management initiatives for departments throughout the firm, such as client and matter screening process, vendor management program, and responses to client audits.Serve as user lead to create, sponsor and complete IT projects focused on building and improving firm’s ethics, compliance and risk management processes.Provide compliance training to new lawyers each quarter.Update firm policies annually and draft new policies as needed.Review and respond to RFPs, outside counsel guidelines, and vendor contracts.
