Welcome to my LinkedIn page. I am Chair of the Writing Department and Assistant Professor at Woodbury University in Burbank, California. My general interests are in rhetorical theory and history, technology in education, and writing program administration. Specifically, I study and teach the rhetorical presidency, legal writing, history writing, science writing, online education, and writing placement and assessment. My scholarship can currently be seen in Technical Communication (November 2018), Computers and Composition, and in an edited collection through Utah State University Press. I have given presented papers at Rhetoric Society of America (2010, 2018), Rhetoric Society of America Summer Institute (2017), Computers & Writing (2011, 2012, 2013, and 2015), the Conference on Writing Program Administration (2015), and the Conference on College Composition and Communication (2012, 2013, 2015, 2017).
