Interim role on DWP digital transformation programme.

Developed new retail analytics product at leading fashion trend forecaster WGSN. The product harnessed the power of big data technologies, with the Hadoop framework at its core, to collate and transform millions of retailer products daily to provide a subscription-based analytics tool for buyers and merchandisers. Client-side consultancy at the DCSF to assist in the procurement of a national solution to e-enable the Common Assessment Framework (eCAF), a key method of assessing and delivering children's services. Managed the business requirements for the national solution, liaising with DCSF policy staff and many external stakeholders through workshops, focus studies.

Conducted a feasibility study at the OCJR into a proposed web-based communication channel to support information-sharing across the staff and practitioners of the criminal justice agencies. Included landscape reviews and focus interviews with each of the agencies to reach a view on the common ground. The study culminated in the development of a strategy.

Two key roles during the implementation phase of a major infrastructure upgrade programme that rolled-out XP to 110,000 workstations at HMRC.- managed a team of ten incident and problem managers, taking ownership of major roll-out issues through to resolution. - managed a small team implementing a strategic remote access solution to support HMRC home.

• Functional architect on the IT project management team, implementing a solution to support a new distribution centre. The PkMS warehouse management system was integrated with mechanical handling systems and the clients.
• Design lead for the implementation of ARC, a retail-specific business intelligence tool.
• Work-stream Lead on a strategy project to reduce the clients’ markdown budget.
• Solution design authority on a project to replatform a merchandise management system and enhance its product and pricing functionality.
• Functional design lead for the integration of a new merchandising manager PPM and new WMS, PkMS with several legacy applications managing intake, QA and the PO lifecycle (shipping).

Managed a team of analysts and developers responsible for the design and build of custom interfaces and reports for an Oracle HR implementation.

Requirements gathering and business process design for an SMS/MMS messaging product integration
