This was my first job at a full-service design agency that offered print, web, radio and video creative. I learned so much in my short time working alongside talented designers and the principal, Mr. Bob Ashida. The breadth and type of projects we worked on was invigorating for me. A few of the projects I worked on included the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame, a local Chiropractic office, and a web start-up.

Responsible for concepting and creating print advertising for the automotive industry. I became proficient at using publication software shortcuts due to the requirement of meeting multiple daily ad deadlines. This was a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Worked through a lot of lunches, worked late quite often, and met some awesome creatives.

This was my first, full-time graphic design position after college. I half-jokingly tell people this job was the internship I SHOULD HAVE HAD while in college because I literally learned all the important stuff at this job—working with clients, pitching creative, attention to detail, small business realities, owning mistakes and making them right, working late until the job was done on big projects, etc. Design projects included magazine publication, ads, brochures, logo design, identity work, packaging, curriculum, t-shirt design, posters, and book covers. To this day I am daily using design principles and business philosophies I learned here.
