For over 20 years, I’ve led teams to success within Fortune 500 and Small & Medium Business sized companies. Global teams and projects within multi-national corporations give me an appreciation both for scale and complexity and I enjoy the challenge. Working within a small/medium sized business, I learned from larger company experiences to find innovative ways to maximize the scarce set of resources in any company. LEADERSHIP. Whether leading through management position or through personal influence, I have a discipline of studying, practicing, adjusting, improving, re-learning, and then re-applying skills and lessons learned that work for my leadership style. There is always something else to learn. I treasure the pay-it-forward moments when someone I know thanks me for my approach, my advice, or my example on an event or conversation I've long since forgotten and I can remember who my coach, mentor, example was that gave the insight to me.COMMUNICATION. Listening is hard, talking is easy. Whether meeting with team members one-on-one, presenting new ideas, or meeting with customers to help solve a problem, I enjoy the process, and at times the challenge, of communications. A straight-forward, honest approach works best for me, looking for common ground or mutually-beneficial outcomes.TECHNOLOGY. I'm passionate about the transformation of information technology, especially in the business communications environment. The momentum of the Software as a Service model and rethinking of the connections within and between previously disparate domains is rapidly bringing together Unified Communications, Contact Center Solutions across voice, video, SMS/social messaging, and digital channels. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are the accelerant for an ever-improving experience.
