System Engineer
CurrentDevelops and/or assists in the development of formal documentation e.g. Event Management Plan (EMP), Test Plan, Quick Look Report (QLR), Test Report, Configuration Items (CIs) Matrix, Daily Status Reports (DSRs), Meeting Minutes, Test Observation Reports (TORs), Bi-Weekly Reports, Monthly Status Reports, Quad Charts, and briefs.Follows CICDs for proper configurations of Navy C2 and C4ISR systems. To include Cisco Routers, Server Stacks, and VMs.Provides test coordination for test event requirements, configuration, and execution for System Integration tests involving Navy C2 and C4ISR systems.Modifies GPOs for large-scale networks.Deploy SIEM, Endpoint, and Network-based technologies with a focus on identifying security events and false positives.Supports the implementation of the event infrastructure to include coordinating the installation of the participating programs.Develops and reviews test architectures to support test objectives and requirements.Observe and monitor the execution of test procedures during test events.Provide troubleshooting assistance utilizing familiarity with CANES/ISNS system architecture.Actively coordinates meetings and leads meetings, providing Meeting Minutes and Action Items (AIs).Coordinates with Cybersecurity, Operations, and Engineering to develop event artifacts as required.Conduct a thorough assessment of all test event-driven core documents for operational issues and system readiness allowing mitigation of Information Security (IS) risks prior to test execution on a land-based distributed multi-system shipboard (replicate) architecture.Identify and evaluate risks related to Program of Record (POR) connectivity requests and technical dependencies needed for PEO C4I end-to-end (E2E), Applications Integration (AI), and various other program office-sponsored Development Test/Operational Test (DT/OT) test events.Actively identifies, tracks, and reports on risk and risk escalation.
