Responsible for the ever-evolving optimization of all drilling and completion fluids on Schlumberger Integrated Drilling Services Oil and Gas Projects in Saudi Arabia (37 rigs). Inclusively collaborate with all customer, engineering, and operational business units to solve and prevent complex drilling problems. Responsible for spearheading the introduction of new drilling fluids technology in Saudi Arabia based upon the customer’s short and long-term goals and the criticality of those desires. Developed new and/or redefined current drilling strategies based upon valid field research and communicated them via market proposals and engagements. These findings were synthesized into an annual cost savings in excess of $8MM USD in 2018 alone. Continue to perform Well Site Supervisor duties as required.

Acted as the supervisory focal point on land-based rig sites in order to ensure that all drilling and completion operations (vertical, lateral, ERD, and Multi-Lateral wells) were drilled and completed in accordance with industry best practices and the customer’s perspective, delivered within budgetary and time constraints, and, most importantly, conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner. Responsible for the introduction, oversight, and field trials of two new and marketable drilling fluid additives based upon discovery-driven design. Proficient in P&ID understanding and flow path illustration. I was numerously recognized by the customer for cost saving directly related to challenging and re-evaluating traditional work procedures. Consistently managed assets and accounts in excess of $10MM USD. Specialized in deep water and large maritime installation operations.

Responsible for customer coaching and on-site guidance, testing, and record collection of all environmental compliance regulations as outlined by the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) 40 CFR 435 Subpart A. Directly involved with the guideline implementation of these standards in the deep water Gulf of Mexico drilling sector. Acted as a liaison between the United States Department of the Interior Minerals and Mining Service and the customer by providing ongoing adherence documentation and testing. Responsible for the initial site survey, performance, maintenance, and installation of all onsite drilling and waste management equipment including cuttings collections systems, cuttings conveyance, centrifugal cuttings dryers, rig vacuum systems, lost circulation material (LCM) recovery systems, and high and low speed centrifuges. Responsible for pre-site installation surveys and collaborating with the drilling contractor and customer to determine the most effective placement and utilization of the equipment. Responsible the supervision of the solids control team while on location. Developed cost savings matrices via mud recovery performance.
