Production Shift Co-OrdinatorResponsible for production related activities including production and labour planning, whilst effectively monitoring waste & costs, implementing actions and escalating where necessary. Training Co-OrdinatorWriting, delivering and reporting of SOPs and relevant training updates across the site. Approaching an important audit, I was able to deliver over 1400 SOPs (Over 140 colleagues trained in 10 plus documents), many of which written by myself, containing CCP amendments and activities critical to Food Safety and Health & Safety such as metal detection and temperature checks. All activities were recorded as a KPI and reported daily across the factory. Over 97% completion was delivered. Hygiene ManagementEffectively manage a team of 20 colleagues responsible for the hygiene of the factory, including daily and scheduled deep cleaning. Responsible for all areas of colleague management, such as holidays, discipline and coaching. Implementing of regular swabbing and sampling of water and surfaces to ensure adherence to cleaning SOPs and guarantee food safety across production lines and facilities. Quality AssuranceEnsuring quality and food safety across all production lines, implementing corrective actions and escalating issues where required. Working in a small team of 4, the main duties of the role included CCP checks, quality sampling, and auditing factory GMP standards. Seconded to another site to assist with preparations for a business level manufacturing practices audit, whilst also implementing process related and cost saving improvements.
