I hope you’re having a great day.An experienced technical writer and expert process manager with 30+ years in the IT industry, I have a passion for creating better ways of working and for producing work that looks good, reads well and delivers what it’s supposed to. I particularly like working in agile, iterative ways to hone in on the best outcomes with like-minded people.I have worked for many large organisations, helping them with process analysis, development, improvement, management and operation. I am currently working at ANZ managing the technology process/policy repository and developing a new controls-based delivery framework. This work gives me great pleasure as I am co-designing the outcomes as part of an energised and motivated team.My specialised area is technology business processes, and in particular those relating to software delivery, security, change management and quality assurance. In the past I have worked in software development, project management office, quality assurance, audit and release management roles. I am very adaptable.I have experience with CMMI (to level 5), CObIT, and ITIL, as well as development and improvement of in-house processes in a wide range of disciplines using BPMN and Lean Six Sigma. Recently I became a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Agilist as I believe that working in a more agile way gives us greater flexibility to respond to customer needs.Working and learning visually I have become skilled in presenting knowledge in ways that are easy to use and simple to understand. I am customer focused, self-motivated and able to work alone or in teams. I am easy going and have good stakeholder management and time management skills.
