Dedicated executive with success optimizing operational efficiency and driving strategic growth and innovation within the defense industry, I have a record of building sustainable pipelines, acquiring new clients, leading sales/marketing efforts, establishing profitable partnerships, and delivering large-scale integration of complex technologies in multidomain operations. A highly effective leader and strategic planner who is adept at building cross-functional, integrated teams and managing programs that exceed customer goals, I am accustomed to leading highly technical, capable teams in highly regulated environments. Delivering innovative solutions that align with national security objectives, to date I’ve worked alongside Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Program Executive Officer (PEO) Integrated Warfare Systems (IWS), Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI), Office of Naval Research (ONR), and Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Defining accomplishments in my career include: achieving such significant growth—a mixture of organic and acquisition—of an operating division that the CEO handed me a new one to helm as VP, and turning around a business operation in dire straits and losing millions a month to turning a profit in <6 months. The entire leadership team was removed and I stayed on to rebuild the company. I value diversity in challenges, which is perhaps what has made me successful at turnarounds. Another metric of success in my career has been cultivating and maintaining relationships, be they at the executive level and leading to new partnerships or at the mentorship level and watching new leaders come into their own. I’m committed to leveraging my extensive industry knowledge and leadership skills to enhance organizational effectiveness and contribute to mission success of my organization. I tend to be outgoing, logical, and adaptable, and when not identifying efficiencies among complex organizations you may find me golfing, sailing, or building boats.
