Lead and oversee research and development initiatives focused on carbon capture, utilization, and sequestration technologies. Drive innovation in negative carbon emission strategies and sustainable practices.Collaborate with Fortune 500 companies and other sustainability-focused organizations to develop, coordinate, and implement strategies and technologies that reduce or offset, measure, and report carbon emissions, supporting both Net-Zero and Net-Negative Carbon Emissions goals.Serve as a spokesperson for the Center, presenting technical research findings and insights at international conferences. Effectively communicate findings to the public and policymakers, emphasizing the importance of negative carbon emissions.

Lead research initiatives focused on developing innovative, sustainable materials and manufacturing processes.

Recognized for significant contributions to research and academia, I have been honored with several prestigious awards and distinctions. These include the 2019 NSF CAREER Award and a prominent feature in Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research’s Special Issue on Influential Researchers. My work has also been acknowledged with the 2018 NASA Early Career Faculty Award and selection as a Mayo Clinic-ASU Alliance Fellow. Additionally, I have received the Ford Faculty Fellowship and have been highlighted in the Young Talents Special Issue of Macromolecular Rapid Communications. Further accolades include the North American Membrane Society (NAMS) Young Membrane Scientist Award and membership in the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS)/Science Program for Excellence in Science since Spring 2014.
