About Matthew Stephens
I'm a full-stack engineer, which means I'm a bit of mix of a developer, a designer, and a data-wrangler, with a lot of experience with complex systems and middleware. I work with a fast-paced team at a great company, where we manage to have a lot of fun as we work to make a great online experience even better.Previously, I did a lot with "content": move it, transform it, connect it, make it better. I fixed the websites it lived in and built new ones. I was a steward of its ecosystem, which involved as many skills as you might imagine. Now my work is more user-focussed, which I prefer. For me, the most important aspect of any project is who I'm working with, how we collaborate, and how our work can make life better for our users.Specialties: HTML5/CSS3/Javascript; React; NodeJS (lots of other web frameworks long the way)Superpowers: data wrangling, systems administration, software design, test-driven development, legacy software interventions, knowing people smarter than me.
