About Matthew Hunt

Blacklight Capital Partners is a private equity-backed real estate investor-developer. We are currently mandated to invest equity, preferred equity and senior debt into UK and Ireland via land or properties with development or asset management potential. We will invest up to c.£30m of equity per transaction, including capital expenditure, and currently also have a senior debt line secured at rates fixed in 2022, giving a total funding capacity per project of up to c.£100m. We also offer workout solutions for under-capitalised projects and businesses. Our fully committed funding line, via a revolving facility signed at rates fixed prior to recent interest rate rises, comprises discretionary equity and debt ie subject only to investment committee approval. Our current focus is in the PBSA and rental living sectors, however all real estate sectors will be considered. Planning risk can be taken.
