Immunobiologist with project team leadership and research experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, specializing in target identification/validation and drug discovery/development in the areas of autoimmunity, inflammation, and immuno-oncology.• Drug discovery scientist with 18 years' industry experience and the proven ability to successfully lead cross-disciplinary project teams through lead optimization into IND-enabling studies. • Broad expertise in various aspects of innate and adaptive immunology and immunopathology: autoimmunity, inflammatory and atopic diseases, and immuno-oncology. • Hands-on training and experience in in vitro and in vivo pharmacology (PK, PK/PD, ADMET) and its application towards target and compound validation and to the hit-to-lead and lead optimization processes. • Demonstrated ability to directly manage B.S./M.S./Ph.D.-level research staff and to provide mentoring and technical supervision to scientists assigned to execute project team objectives and/or to serve as project leaders.• Technical skills include: development of in vitro immunoassays and in vivo disease models, flow cytometry, analysis of immune signal transduction pathways, and application of omics technology towards the identification and validation of translational biomarkers.
