FACTION is a collective of liked minded property consultants, brought together by a common passion, who challenge the norm of traditional consulting in the property industry.I was fortunate enough to be part of the Project Management team working with Suncorp on delivering their new Brisbane Head Office consisting of 40,000m2 of space, the largest project of its kind in Queensland. Additionally, was on secondment in the Queensland Government, with the Queensland Ambulance Service as a Senior Project Manager to deliver a portfolio of three co-located operational emergency call centres and ambulance stations around Queensland.

Grocon believes in leaving a legacy by placing people first, leading standards in their industry and developing places of real significance to benefit all stakeholders.As Assistant Development Manager, I was responsible for delivering the $550 million 29 ha Gold Coast Commonwealth Games Athletes Village. This is a master planned community inclusive of 1,252 dwellings across 18 residential towers, 82 townhouses and a 5,840m2 retail precinct. In just over 2 years, I had:✔ Led the achievement of a 6 Green Star Community Rating from the GBCA, equivalent of ‘World Leadership’ in sustainable communities, with a perfect 10 innovation credits.✔ Achieved a complete 6 Leaf EnviroDevelopment Rating from the UDIA, 30% above contract obligation. ✔ Led the development and implementation of Grocon’s inaugural Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) in my role as RAP Policy Officer✔ Project champion of reconciliation initiatives recognized from State Government departments as a key significant legacy outcome for the region. ✔ Been appointed Principals Agent under the $55m+ D&C Civil Works Contract. I facilitated the complex delivery of infrastructure and landscape works, including over 7ha of parklands. I am a collaborative, diplomatic leader who seeks shared understanding. I headed the mentor program coaching 7 students to hone their skills.

As a high performing UQ MBA student, I was selected to participate in a six-month commercial consulting project in conjunction with the Ivy League - University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, one of the world's leading business schools. The client, a leader in the cyber security, based in Silicon Valley.As Project Manager, I led the ten-person international team based in Australia and the US in the delivery of a market opportunity assessment across APAC, with a detailed focus of the top 5 markets.With no prior expertise, within weeks I engaged with global subject matter experts on matters regarding cyber security policy and processes, following extensive in-depth primary and secondary research in a new and technical field.Our team delivered strategic recommendations, which the client implemented to assist in the delivery of market leadership in the region and cement them as true global leader.Skills and capabilities refined in this role featured; expanding International experience working within a team and with clients and interviewing subjects in different locations, time zones and cultures. Lorna Jane is Australia’s leading women’s sportswear fashion label. At the time, Lorna Jane had 135+ national retail stores and was stocked in over 40 countries. I led an internal team of 12 to deliver integrated monthly retail marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive sales. Key Achievements:✔ Led the successful implementation of various process improvements for the wider marketing team (up to 25 team members) ✔ Managed large internal graphic design team (8 team members). ✔ Successfully implemented creative prototype campaign retail display executions leading to 15% increase in sales and store foot traffic✔ Originally contracted on a fixed three-month short-term contract which was extended to a full-time position and escalated into acting as the Executive Marketing Manager for a period of four months.

Specifically, I delivered numerous projects through every stage of the construction lifecycle, including acting as Superintendent, ensuring the contractor completed projects to specification, on time and on budget whilst maintaining safety standards at the highest level.Key Achievements: ✔ Managed complex redevelopment projects within live operating Hospitals without incident, including Brisbane Private Hospital Ward Refurbishment ($10m)✔ Delivered new private hospital design accreditation for Gold Coast Private Hospital ($230m), utilizing the Australian Health Facility Guidelines.

Sweett Group is an International project management and professional services consultancyI led the successful delivery of commercial, healthcare and education building projects through all stages of the construction lifecycle, including as Superintendent. I worked with contractors (including Tier 1) to complete projects to specification, on time and on budget, whilst maintaining outstanding safety standards. Key Achievements:✔ Increased client satisfaction by over 50% through the delivery of tenancy coordination for the $500m premium grade 47 level, 6 Green Star office tower, One One One Eagle Street, Brisbane✔ Led the delivery of over $20m worth of projects including private Hospital redevelopments, as well as 12 education projects for the Queensland Government.

Whilst undertaking my postgraduate studies, I accepted a fixed short-term work experience placement at Mirvac. I was entrusted with the responsibilities of an Assistant Development Manager under the guidance of an experienced Development Manager. My responsibilities included; project analysis and research, financial feasibilities, project reports, stakeholder management and project delivery support.

At Clemenger BBDO, I was responsible for the delivery and coordination of integrated advertising campaigns from start to finish, ensuring the campaigns were created on brief, on time and on budget. I prepared creative briefs after consultation with stakeholders, briefed and managed the creative team to produce advertisements and coordinated them through the agency, gaining client approval and dispatching the material. In his role, I worked with all local media channels for advertising campaigns including digital, TV, print, press, direct mail and radio.Key client accounts that I helped manage at Clemenger BBDO were Bank of Queensland and Australia Post.

As a promotions assistant at Sony Music Australia, my role was to provide assistance to the senior members of the promotions and marketing team. My key responsibility was to develop and implement creative promotions for album launches at night club venues across Queensland and album promotion giveaways in street press, rural press and with local retailers. In his role, I established and maintained relationships with key media stakeholders.While in this role, I had the opportunity to gain valuable experience at the head office in Sydney, rotating through various departments. A key achievement at Sony Music was attaining a full-time position out of a work experience placement due to my effective contribution to the business and the team.

My main responsibility at Nova was to manage and coordinate off-air activities at radio crosses and being the MC of mini events. This role required formulation of creative themes daily for recorded radio crosses, scripts, prize giveaways and events.My achievements at Nova included being part of the commercial launch of the radio station in Brisbane and being an integral part of the team as noted by my superiors winning employee of the month multiple times.

My role at Network Ten was to provide general assistance to the various internal departments. I started in a temporary relief position which was extended to a permanent part time position. I was very efficient in this role reducing my work schedule which previously consumed 5 days down to 3.During my experience at Network Ten, I became familiar with all aspects of Television production working alongside all internal departments, including promotions.
