Beginning my Junior year in High School, I started attending Central Nine Career Center, for Precision Machining Technology. From there, my Senior year of High School is when I began an internship program working at Precision Products Inc. and that's where I stayed for the next 12 years. Precision Products could be considered multiple things such as; a job shop, tool/die shop, or custom machining shop, but ultimately we did a variety of work for many sectors in the manufacturing industry including; chip manufacturing, automotive, food & beverage, carbon fiber molds, and military. During the first 6 years of my time at Precision Products, I operated a variety of manual and CNC grinding machines. I was then transferred to the Milling Department, where I became department manager and lead programmer. A couple of years later, I absorbed the responsibilities of managing the grinding department along with the polish/deburring department as well. While in the middle of this, I attended NTMA-U to achieve my Journeyman Precision Technician / Machinist Certificate, which required the completion of 6 semesters of education along with 8000 work hours. I then joined the NexGenSolutions team in 2023, as a Senior Applications Engineer. The highlight of my career, and the reason I love it so much, is that I can impact the manufacturing field in many positive ways. With the thought of constant evolution and embracing change, the future of technology and manufacturing is at the tips of our fingers.
