Assistant Director, Us Army-Baylor Empa Residency
CurrentAs assistant program director, ensures the Doctoral of Science Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant residents conduct quality research projects that meet the requirements for graduation from Baylor University. Improves and increases published products of the Darnall EMPA program. Reviews EMPA resident protocols and case reports for scientific merit and feasibility, and guides the residents through the publication process. Supervises EMPA residents’ Grand Rounds presentations. Performs ED shifts and functions as staff preceptor for EMPA residents rotating through the Department of Emergency Medicine, providing continuing academic/professional supervision of EMPA residents. Precepts PA student rotators.
