Beginning in June of 2015, I began my job at Mark Trece Inc. as a shipping clerk. This position is accompanied with various responsibilities that gave me valuable experience in the workplace. On a daily basis I am tasked with designating which freight companies would be picking up our daily freight, communicating and coordinating this with our customers. Jobs that we would be shipping out are required to be checked for quality and accuracy prior to being packed up and placed on either a pallet for freight purposes, or FedEx/UPS depending on which service is cheaper or logistically more sound for getting our product to our customer. This is all determined in a fast-paced environment on the fly and must be executed accurately. I did all of this while simultaneously attending college at MTSU at which I earned a B.S. with a GPA of 3.4. Some of my skills are being a highly articulate communicator, proficient typing skills, and strong problem solving skills. I believe I would be an excellent asset to any prospective employer.
