Hello! I'm Matthew Scrivner, an artist based in Oklahoma.I grew up in Oklahoma City, where I found a passion for creation at Classen School of Advanced Studies. Later, I moved to Tulsa to pursue a BA in Film Studies and Economics at the University of Tulsa.I’ve worked in a variety of positions in videography and photography, whether it be directing on-campus broadcast news livestreams to snapping kids punching each other in the face until blood spills from their noses and they forget their names. While working at The Engine Room boxing gym, I also got the opportunity to help create promotional content for their VR boxing game studio.I’ve worked in mentorship roles on campus as a film studies tutor and led the TUTV crew and on-screen talent to create a successful news show each week. Working as treasurer for the Gilcrease Junior Board I helped encourage the arts on campus through my involvement in two massive art exhibitions in association with the Gilcrease museum. I’ve brought company’s visions to life by creating animated shorts, creating social media content for a real estate influencer, and making creative edits for youtube.When I’m not working, I enjoy meeting up with my friends at live concerts and comedy shows, going for long bike rides, and watching beautiful sunsets from my hammock. At this point I’m looking to widen my horizons and find a new place to explore my craft.
