Matt’s practice transcends litigation and transactions. After a trial, the state agency approved the termination;• Trial attorney for a motor vehicle manufacturer in a state agency action in which existing dealer protested Matt’s client’s decision to appoint an additional dealer in the same market as the existing dealer. After a multi-day trial, the state agency approved Matt’s client’s proposed action, allowing it to appoint an additional dealer;• Trial attorney for demolition company in dispute with state tax authorities regarding improper tax assessments. After a multi-day trial, the court ruled in favor of Matt’s client and ordered the refund of all taxes improperly collected; and• Lead attorney in obtaining dismissal of financial institution from class action involving consumer fraud and Illinois mortgage law claims.
