I worked closely with project managers and Telstra's Project Management Office, coordinating simultaneous projects. As part of the project team, I provided team leadership, risk/issue management, change control and stakeholder communications skills.Responsibilities and AchievementsManaged the upgrade of 210 Netware servers worldwide to Zenworks 7.1 and Symantec Anti-Virus. Responsibilities included scheduling, resource management and stakeholder communications. Installation and commissioning of Blackberry and SQL servers for Qantas flight crew Blackberry solution.Management of the commissioning and decommissioning of Qantas servers and sites.Responsible for project reporting and Project Management Office updates.Scheduling of meetings and taking of meeting minutes.Planning and implementation on the QIPII infrastructure replacement program.Lodgment and tracking of changes through the IBM Change management system.Risk and contingency planning, resource management and stakeholder communications. This would be implemented as part of a global move to Active Directory thereby facilitating maximum flexibility better security etc. I was asked by the Project Manager to join him at HSBC and assist with the delivery of this Project. My inital tasks was to build relationships with all Business Units contacts, help with the development of the overall Project Plan and deliverables.Responsibilities and AchievementsResponsible for the design and documentation of all aspects of the migration process for transferring 1400 HSBC users from Windows 2000/Netware environment to Windows XP/Citrix/Active Directory.Management of deployment teams responsible for migrating users from NetWare environment to Windows XP/Active Directory.Management of all HSBC desktop and laptop assets during rollout ensuring necessary hardware was available for upcoming migrations.Planned and oversaw decommissioning of Domino and NetWare servers.Scheduling of weekly meetings and taking of meeting minutes. -
