I was delighted to have the opportunity to return to Wholesale Markets for a second time to help them to establish a new multi-million dollar 2 year program of work in collaboration with our technology team. This involved preparing business benefits, presenting strategic recommendations to steering committees and developing product roadmaps for my portfolio, which includes:- Building or procuring a Trading and Risk Management platform for AGL's financial electricity and environmental portfolios- Developing a data and analytical platform that will deliver the insights across all our commodity, and help Wholesale Markets to achieve our longer term strategic goals and visions.With the program established, and my product roadmaps in place, my focus has turned to supporting my talented team of Product Owners and Business Analysts, as they build my portfolios. Daily interactions with my Product team could involve anything from prioritisation, resolving issues, mitigating delivery risks or clarifying direction. I also continue to refine and reprioritise my roadmaps as a result of ongoing engagement with my stakeholders, changes in rules and regulations, or whatever other obstacles are thrown my way. After all, that's why we are Agile, isn't it?
