Developing strong relationships with third party logistics suppliers to deliver on cost and quality for stakeholders. Participated in an RFP process which saw us onboard two new suppliers into our everyday operations in order to improve on flexibility, cost and quality. Dealing with on the day issues such as transport aborts, working to ensure impacted deliveries/collections are covered as soon as possible. Collaborating with other departments such as customer service, marketing/remarketing and risk to deliver on business requirements such as complaint resolutions, PR campaigns and professional recoveries. Ownership of a project which provided transport for defleet buyers, building relationships with bulk transport suppliers and trade buyers. Helping to enable over £4m in sales.Lead on other projects such as redistribution of stock at closed down sites against deadlines, and establishing our HQ as a temporary storage and distribution site for defleet vehicles.
