I presently work as an R&D manager for a building materials company. In this role, I am responsible for overseeing a team that handles process research, product formulation, new product development, capital expenditure justification, data analysis, project management and support of manufacturing operations across 5 plants.Prior to working in the building materials industry, I worked in supervisory and engineering roles for a company specializing in water soluble polymers.My passion lies in understanding and solving complex problems, primarily with regard to product and process development. I recently received an MBA and I am interested in shifting towards product management or supply chain roles. This will allow me to build from my existing education and experience while honing my strategic thinking skills and business acumen.
