As one of the STEM Educator Mentors with TAMUC, my role was to help guide, coach, and develop both undergraduate and master’s level students from pre-service to active duty educators. I truly enjoyed watching my mentees learn and grow. Throughout the mentoring process, I assisted mentees with connecting to local districts and conduct both virtual and physical mentoring sessions.- Assisted students from the NOYCE Scholar program- Provides subject matter expertise and mentors the development, training, and sustainment of the TAMUC Master's development program- Responsible for the professional development, organizational capabilities, and functional duties of new educator teams- Assist with coordination and communication of all ongoing projects, this includes project tracking for pre-and post-license educational activities.

I have taught On-Level Biology, Advanced Biology, GT Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and AP Environmental Science. However, I am certified to teach all science courses in grades 7-12. - Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to collaborate regularly and implement curricula and activities to meet academic standards- View feedback as a tool to improve and grow in all teacher responsibilities, and use it in this capacity- Provide and seek the assistance of LISD specialists as recommended to plan for instruction- Present subject matter according to guidelines established by Texas Education Agency, board policies, and administrative regulations- Assist in the selection of books, equipment, and other instructional materials- Aided with the founding of the BioTech club

For the 2020-2021 school year I taught both biology and physics and was the department liaison for virtual learners. In the 2019-2020 school year I taught both biology and chemistry. I strongly believe that each student is unique and deserves an individualized approach.
