    The Ivey Centre for Building Sustainable Value (BSV Centre) is recognised globally for its excellence in research and teaching on sustainable business. The BSV Centre’s new strategy aims to catalyze Canada’s transformation to a sustainable, equitable, and prosperous future through high-impact research, teaching, and industry partnerships. My role is to lead the implementation of the Centre’s strategy, build key partnerships, and manage the Centre’s team, programs, and operations.Major achievements and responsibilities include:- Development of the BSV Centre’s new strategy in consultation with the Faculty Director, Dean’s Office, and the Ivey Sustainability Advisory Council.- Management and coordination of the Canadian Corporate Strategies for Net Zero initiative to build alignment between ambitious corporate climate action and long-term innovation and value creation.- Launch of the Ivey Innovation Learning Lab (now Innovation North) , an initiative of 20 leading Canadian organizations (including RBC, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, Bell Canada, and CPA Canada) aiming to re-imagine corporate innovation processes to improve societal outcomes through systems thinking approaches.- Collaboration with lead faculty to launch Ivey’s new programs to accelerate the transition to the circular economy in Canada and to establish innovative financial instruments for conservation finance.- Development of the new Business and Sustainability graduate diploma in the Ivey MSc. Program, and delivery of the ESG in Action Workshop as part of the curriculum.- Management of six staff and oversight of BSV Centre operations including communications, finances, administration, and reporting.
