On this roller coast ride we call life, I have been blessed to witness many highs, lows, twists, and turns. These all came together to represent a story, the story of us. Most recently in that chapter book of life I have been pursuing an education to help bring awareness and advocacy, that all deserve to enjoy recreation. Most importantly, the benefits one can gain from it. Moreover, I specifically do research in the realm of service dogs, veterans, and how those two combined with recreational activities can affect the journey of PTSD to PTG.This journey for me started when I finished my career in the military. Doing meaningful work for Counterdrug Operations and field experiences as a Joint Fires Observer, along with many other impactful positions within that career path. The most important part of those positions was the short- and long-term impacts, the relationships, and the mentorships. People lived together, worked together, and molded each other to be better and do better. With that being said, what fuels my soul is the passion of paying it forward through working with others in a positive and constructive environment whether it is through education, leadership, mentorship, or advocacy as a whole. Therefore, I hope to be able to support others in this ever-changing environment we call life; while also developing my own skillset and business models to not only support myself and family but those I am able to pay it forward to.
