My practice combines restructuring experience with a broad range of litigation and transactional skills. I have litigated complex matters in state and federal courts throughout the country, and have represented debtors, creditors, and indenture trustees in complex chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcies and out-of-court restructurings. I routinely represent clients in debt enforcement proceedings and structure deals to mitigate against significant loss in the event of enforcement litigation. Having litigated many complex disputes, clients value the unique perspective I offer on day-to-day operational issues, and they routinely turn to me for guidance on negotiating and drafting key business agreements, reviewing internal policies, and evaluating strategic growth opportunities. Additionally, my practice includes a substantial compliance component. I advise commercial and residential loan servicers, public utilities, and manufacturing clients on compliance with state and federal regulations and also assist in the development of policies and procedures to address compliance issues. These clients appreciate that I take time to learn their businesses and work toward creative solutions that not only meet the immediate legal need but also align with long-term business objectives. I represent clients in a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, automotive, real estate, technology, energy, banking, hospitality, and health care.
