I am a master of business administration (MBA) candidate at the University of Alberta, with a bachelor's degree in psychology. I have a strong background in inventory management and optimization, having worked as the lead for this function at Axe Fire Protection & Contracting Inc. for over a year. I have core competencies in knowledge translation, qualitative research, and project management, which I apply to various domains and industries.As the inventory management and optimization lead, I developed and implemented a new system for tracking and billing the projects department, eliminating the cost of sitting inventory for most of the large projects. I also improved the warehouse utilization and workflow rates, creating a more effective space to store and move product. I worked with various stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and clients, to ensure the quality and efficiency of the inventory processes. I also contributed to the strategic planning and budgeting of the inventory function, aligning it with the company's goals and vision.
