I am a huge people-person and have spent several years in the health and safety world, specifically focused on ergonomics in the workplace. I love being able to show people how just a few changes in their style of working, either at a desk or in a production facility can have a huge impact on their quality of life. I feel very lucky to work with a diverse group of people from all backgrounds and feel lucky to participate in the process of innovation in this fast paced environment.I have extensive experience in the sit to stand desk world, which is changing the way people think about working and ergonomics. Ergonomic innovations seem to be ever changing in a good way providing people and companies of all levels the ability to participate in this new movement without necessarily breaking the bank.When I am not working, I am dreaming up solutions to ergonomic issues I see daily. I am 7’2” tall and I was even 5’5” in kindergarten. I have been working with my own ergonomic issues for years and it is always very rewarding to see an accommodation made to help those of us who do not fit into the norm. I have a passion for design and building. I have restored houses built in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. I have designed and built my own office desk that accommodates my height, and I am currently working on a new one that can fit everyone.
