Matt Pillar is an accomplished executive with more than thirty years of experience building, advising, and investing in global enterprises. He has a long track record of growing businesses to scale and profitability and currently serves as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Head of Corporate Strategy at leading mobile gaming company Jam City and, independently, as strategic advisor to a number of consumer-facing, growth-oriented businesses.Matt co-created and facilitated an executive education program for Harvard Business School; served as Senior Fellow and Adjunct Faculty where he created and taught a graduate-level MBA course at the Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Graduate School of Management at Claremont Graduate University; and is a Techstars Mentor and recurring guest speaker on entrepreneurship at the USC Marshall School of Business and the USC School of Cinematic Arts.In addition to his significant expertise in M&A and IPO preparation and service on numerous Boards of Directors of communications, media, and technology companies over the years, Matt has served for nearly two decades on the Boards of multiple charitable organizations, most notably the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California. Proficient in Mandarin Chinese, Matt received a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in East Asian Studies from Brown University and a Master in Business Administration degree with Honors from Harvard University.
