Data Reduction, Sustainability And Flash Storage Principal Product Manager
CurrentProduct manager for Hitachi's Storage Virtualization Operating System's (SVOS) Adaptive Data Reduction (ADR) deduplication and compression product for our enterprise array offerings. This includes managing the Flash Module Drive (FMD) Accelerated Compression product as well as the hardware and software-based Adaptive Data Reduction (ADR) product. I'm responsible for product definition, working with engineering on development priority, market positioning, field training and pre- and post-sales tools. I also created, support and manage the Effective Capacity Warranties supporting the data reduction product line. As a part of my PM role, I am the SVOS Sustainability PM. I create product requirements to help customers use our storage arrays in a sustainable manner. This also includes creating messaging to differentiate Hitachi as a leader in sustainability ESG and how that benefits our customers.Product manager for Hitachi Accelerated Flash Storage. I work closely with all corporate functions from Japan-domestic engineering and product planning teams to worldwide field sales and customers to ensure Hitachi builds the right flash product for the enterprise storage market. My work on this product was recognized for innovation by Hitachi Ltd. at the CEO level.
