As the Director, Symphony Ecosystem, I direct partnership and content library strategy for Symphony, an online learning platform for civic and citizenship education, where educators and learners can explore a rich library of content that empowers young people to act in the long-term interest of humanity with empathy, knowledge, inclusion, and hope for the future.

As the Head of Curriculum & Content, I design, manage, and oversee the execution of strategy for the Composer Content Team and lead the development of partnerships for new content providers. Composer is a digital platform where educators access the top citizenship education resources from around the world and integrate learning science into curriculum planning. Composer launched in April 2020 with 35 content providers and nearly 1000 resources for educators.I represent the Ventures line of business on the cross-organization Global Leadership Team and Curriculum Impact Team where my focus is on the translation of best practices from the field of learning science into organizational papers and products.

As an Associate Researcher, I contribute research support on the High Resolves' Future of Assessment project, a multi-year venture to create a new framework for assessing learning in citizenship competencies through embedded micro-assessments.

As a Curriculum Developer, I worked with the National Program Director- Canada/ Director of Curriculum and Impact to design and publish teacher resource packs— detailed lesson plans and resources to support educators in the integration of citizenship education into the classroom— as well as re-designs of High Resolves’ four professionally delivered experiences— workshops that employ immersive simulations, games, and activities to provoke cognitive and affective shifts in student thinking. I was promoted to Curriculum & Content Lead, Composer in January 2019.

WorldTeach is a non-profit organization dedicated to international development and education through volunteer teaching. As the Teacher Quality Coordinator Intern, I designed, created and edited professional development and training curriculum for first year teachers using a train-the-trainer model, incorporating best practices in pedagogy and classroom management for different cultural contexts; analyzed and assessed existing WorldTeach teacher training curriculum; and, researched best practices in teacher preparation and integrate 21st century and global citizenship skills into lesson content, adaptable to 18 country programs, training 400 teachers per year.

Spring International Language is a professional academic organization that provides English language training and cross-cultural education. As Student Affairs and Administrative Assistant, I coordinated day-to-day school activities, providing administrative and logistical support for faculty, staff and students and for special programs; planned and led cultural exchange activities, working together with students to enrich their academic experience at the school; and, prepared, curated and managed content across social media platforms.

The English Teaching Assistant (ETA) Programs place Fulbrighters in classrooms abroad to provide assistance to local English teachers and serve as cultural ambassadors for the U.S. As the a Fulbright ETA, I taught English and the Social Sciences for middle and high school students; developed educational materials for global citizenship and English-language acquisition programs; coached and organize students for the Global Classrooms Project, a program designed to teach ethical global citizenship and intercultural understanding, in conjunction with the Autonomous Community of Madrid, the U.S. Fulbright Commission, and the British Council; and prepared students in the Bilingual Section for the Key English Test, the Preliminary English Test, and the First Certificate in English Exam.
