Ensuring continuous improvement through sustaining engineering and process improvement strategies.

Responsible and accountable for the initial "ground up" build and eventual 24x7 operations and maintenance activities of the Advanced Research Center within the Datacenter environment.  I am responsible for physical facilities operations and maintenance, electrical power systems, HVAC systems, security, network and systems fiber optic connectivity, copper and RF cabling, rack layout and design and troubleshooting operations in accordance with company guidelines and local, state and federal regulations. Experienced in Access networks specific to the cable/internet field, fiber services, PON, DAA, CIN, Optical Transport and all advanced services and testing etc.

Manage all Fiber related products, Fiber Services Supervisors and Fiber Services Technicians in the Northern Midwest area. Responsible for the implementation, execution and reporting of diverse installation, service and customer fulfillment programs and procedures in consistently exceeding commercial customers expectations. Lead a multi-disciplined team in supporting Legacy Fiber products and all emerging technologies to include; PRI, SIP trunking, DAS, BCE, SONET, Ethernet Over Fiber, Cell tower back-haul, advanced wireless services, wire-line services and other managed services.Previous Service as Technical Supervisor(same company):I assisted associates in the transition from Insight to Time Warner. As Technical Supervisor I had the unique opportunity to partner with Human Resources to develop and deliver a "Change Management" presentation that was delivered to all Dispatch, Warehouse and Technical teams to aide and equip them in making a successful transition. I had the opportunity to help develop and implement several TWC programs to include; warehouse impress, system sweep program, CLI program and trouble call validation program.

I have been in the cable industry since 1995. I started with Times Mirror Cable and went through three other companies without changing my location. Times Mirror was acquired by Cox Communications who then traded my system to Frontier Vision who was acquired by Adelphia Communications. During that time I worked my way up through the ranks from installer, service, maintenance and then into management. I left Adelphia in 2003 as an Area Manager responsible for Adelphia's western properties outside of Columbus Ohio. My duties involved, management of construction project to 870mhz plant, Headend relocation project, contract negotiation, community awareness, service and installation management, liaison for Adelphia Business Solutions, fiber management, franchise agreement negotiations. I left Adelphia to pursue a career with Insight Communications.
